Music World Gospel recording artist Brian Courtney Wilson is one of gospel’s contemporary break-through artist of 2010. A 2010 Gospel Music Association’s Dove Award nominee for New Artist of the Year and Urban Recorded Song of the Year for the title track, “Just Love”, Wilson’s debut CD JUST LOVE, entered at #2 on the Billboard Top Gospel Album chart and #6 on Billboard’s Top Christian Album chart. The CD remains in the Top 15 on the Billboard Top Gospel Album chart for over 52 weeks since its release on June 2, 2009.
In commemoration of the success of Brian Courtney Wilson Debut album JUST LOVE, this fall Music World Gospel will re-release the critically acclaimed album. The new album will feature new packaging, four new songs, and companion video.
With four current and active singles at radio, which is unusual and rare for any recording artist in popular music and certainly a first in the gospel/christian music genre, Brian’s first single, “All I Need” is currently the longest –running single charting for 63 weeks on Billboard’s Hot Gospel Song Chart. The follow-up single, “Already Here” has been on the Billboard charts for 55 weeks and remains in the Top 5 Billboard’s Gospel Recurrent chart. His third single, “Just Love” just landed on Billboard’s Top 30 Gospel chart and “Believe, Brian’s fourth single, is impacting Urban Adult Contemporary radio as Brian’s official wedding song.
In September 2010, Brian starts his partnership with the American Heart Association for their Power to End Stroke Tour. He will be the opening act for the tour with Marvin Sapp as the headliner.
